Search for modern users
Ever lose something on your computer? Search engines can't find everything - local files, emails, deleted web pages. Apse is designed to find those things other search engines can't.
Apse automatically captures text from your screen as you use your computer. It saves you a copy, so recalling it is just a search away. Find out how.
Where did I see that? Even if you only remember a word or phrase from what you are looking for, Apse has you covered.
How It Works
Apse runs in the background on your computer. You use your computer normally, and it captures text from your screen using an AI-based computer vision algorithm called OCR.
Results are stored in Apse's search index. You can search Apse just like any other search engine, but Apse won't show you spam or irrelevant results - it only saves things you have seen.
Apse works on desktop and laptop computers. These operating systems are supported:
Apse respects your privacy. Apse doesn't have ads, and won't track you. Your data is not for sale - you are never the product.
Apse is independent, and runs on your computer. It doesn't send anything to the cloud, so your private data stays private. You control what data to keep or delete, forever.
